92 Express Takes All In Dayton Tourney Memorial Day Weekend
The 92 Brighton Express won the Red 16 Division at the 2008 Adidas Warrior Classic soccer tournament in Dayton, OH May 24-26. The Express defeated teams from Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia in their championship victory. In five tournament games played, 92 Express outscored opponents by a combined score of 18 to 1. The 92 Express, runner-up at the Warrior Classic in 2004 and 2007, is coached by Paul Kato and Saimir Rada.
Congratulations to our 90 Brighton Express (U17/U18 BOYS)
The 90 Express team won the championship for the GOLD Division in the Novi Jaguar's Soccer Invitational which was held over the May 9th - 11th weekend in Novi, Michigan. Congratulations to coach Samir and the PLAYERS of our Express team for leaving the tournament as the BIG WINNER!
96 Brighton Eclipse Red - 1st place Championship at the Troy Strawberry Festival Soccer tournament
Congratulations 96 Brighton Eclipse Red!! The girls brought home 1st place Championship trophies from the Troy Strawberry Festival Soccer tournament, U12 Girls Silver Division, held May 16th -18th in Troy, Ohio.
Playing with only 1 sub throughout the tournament, the girls showed great heart and determination in their 3 regular game wins (1-0, 2-1, and 4-0) before turning their focus towards a Championship game that included not only a 20 minute overtime but a winning shoot-out!
